What is Emento

Emento is a Danish company which was established in 2016. Today, Emento has around 20 employees and is still growing as we speak. Emento consists of the corporate office, located in Aarhus, and a registered office in Copenhagen.

Emento produces the clouded patient portal solution, Digital Care Guide, which serves as an active care guide for a patient course. The Digital Care Guide provides patients with the right information at the right time. The Digital Care Guide gives clinicians the possibility of assigning patients tasks that are related to their patient course, which improves the patients’ engagement in their own patient course. Furthermore, the clinicians are able to communicate directly with the patients, and vice versa.

The benefits of using the Digital Care Guide applies to both the administrative level, clinical practice and the patients.

Emento builds the product suite based on Design Thinking with designers and developers based in Aarhus. Design Thinking is a core element in Emento’s workflow. Our employees are all highly educated and have a strong dedication to making a real difference in patients’ lives.

After introducing Digital Care Guide in Denmark, Emento has a customer base amongst hospitals which cover more than 25% of the Danish patients. Emento is embarking on a journey to conquer other geographical markets, starting with Germany and Norway.

For the German market Emento has prepared an initial strategy for how to enter the German market, outlining the focus and objectives, and will soon open a registered office in the Nordrhein Westfalen/Niedersachsen area.

The next step is now to establish a strong and competent organisation with healthcare experienced colleagues that will strive to take Emento into the German market, and carry Emento forward onto new opportunities.

Relationship Manager (sales)

Our new relationship manager in Emento will be responsible for sales, as well as building up relations in a trustworthy manner. The candidate must have a strong sales process approach and possess the necessary strategic and tactical understanding of the sales process starting with the capability of creating winning sales strategies to conquer the German hospital market.

As a relationship manager, you must have a good understanding of sales tactics, timing of sales activities and outline of sales plan. To us, an important part of this is to understand customers' decision making process and complex influencer map, and through this, be able to perform with a solution selling type approach.

To meet targets as our new relationship manager you must be comfortable creating a plan and overall strategy for achieving targets through identifying and building up necessary relations within the customers organization. You must understand the materials and marketing efforts necessary and be able to help define these requirements internally to form a complete market plan for target accounts.

As our relationship manager you will become part of a highly motivated sales team with a strong sales culture, a pronounced wish to drive digitalisation forward, and possibility to translate challenges into opportunities in areas where it matters the most.

Product Specialist

As our new Product Specialist, you are responsible for understanding the full product portfolio of Emento Digital Care Guide and serve as a link between the development team in Denmark, the German Emento organization and the German customers - in this position it is important that you have strong English language skills. As a Product Specialist, your role is multidisciplinary, which gives you the opportunity to influence the product, the market and the overall strategy. Your vision for the Digital Care Guide in Germany will be a driving force for all central stakeholders. Your ability to motivate your colleagues will be essential for the success in the German digital transformation that Emento is embarking on. Your tasks with all internal and external stakeholders are key throughout the customer journey from sales support to implementation to user group seminars and follow up on customer satisfaction related to the product.

In your role as Product Specialist, it is expected that you have market expertise from previous healthcare products, and knowledge about the organisation and functioning of German hospitals. You can identify the customers’ needs and the larger business objectives that our product or features will fulfill in the German market. Moreover, you can articulate what success looks like for the Digital Care Guide, and rallie a team to turn that vision into a reality. You need to be a team player!

You will report directly to the CEO of Emento GmbH and have a close relation to the product development team in Denmark. The primary contact will be our founder Klaus Veng who is responsible for all innovation and product development in Emento. During your workday you will help sales and presales with product specific inputs during the sales process both for customer presentations as well as writing offers and responding to tenders. You will also assist the implementation team with product portfolio knowledge and be involved with the customers to understand their use of the Digital Care Guide, their needs for additional functionality or actually more specifically understanding the customers challenges, and also drive customer user group forums.

Integration specialist – most likely to be placed in DK team in the first phase

As our integration specialist you are responsible for developing strategic procedures and upgrades, improving network infrastructures, and managing systems configuration. It will also be your job to analyze the system's operation and its efficiency to support business functions and deliverables. The integration specialist maintains the safety and security of the networks, ensuring its accuracy and smooth navigation for operational use, especially preventing unauthorized access and activities. You must have excellent knowledge of the technology industry and the latest trends, as well as a strong command of programming languages and system codes.

As an integrations specialist, you will become part of a highly qualified development team always aiming to provide our customers with user-friendly interfaces and an infrastructure working smoothly with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality. Your are expected to engage in continuous learning and updates of your field specific knowledge and you will be asked to bring that into place in creative iterations aimed to develop new and interesting services and features.

The work tasks
  • Act as liaison between the product development team and the support team during design to identify and agree technical requirements to enable new modules to be integrated with the existing application
  • Work with subject matter experts and knowledgeable support staff to understand technical and application integration requirements

Presale Specialist

As our new Presale Specialist, it is your responsibility to constantly look out for new opportunities in the market in order to support the Relationship Manager in the process of driving new sales. We are looking for a presale specialist that has outstanding market expertise within the German hospital market and has the ablity to apply this expertise into developing top notch sales presentations for the relationship manager.

You can position Emento towards the individual customer based on ongoing market analysis, including identification of trends in the German hospital sector. The ongoing market analysis includes knowledge of political strategies and decisions, awareness of new legislation regarding patient communication and reading through national hospital reviews. We expect you to strive towards identifying potential new customers and aligning these with our relationship manager(s). As a Presale Specialist, you will work closely across the organization together with product development, sales and marketing, and customer relations but with the Relationship Manager as your key team player. You support the Relationship Manager throughout the sales process from identifying and analyzing leads, developing strong sales presentations, driving the response to tenders and writing proposals. You will also work closely with the Product Specialist to gather inputs about the product portfolio for customer meetings and preparation of offers.

Your role will be multidisciplinary. The work tasks
  • Support the Relationship Manager to become as effective and efficient as possible in direct customer dialogue
  • Lead generation activities towards prospects
  • Appointment scheduling of Senior Management with CIOs, CEOs and Clinical Managers of German hospitals
  • Plan sales strategies in response to market and competitors’ behavior
  • Prepare sales presentations
  • Prepare sales proposals and train other sales representatives from time to time
  • Assist in business development related marketing collateral such as case studies and whitepapers
  • Work in sync with the product development team and the Product Specialist to get necessary information for the sales activities.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to undertake demand-generated activities such as conferences or customer workshops

Your personal profile

We are looking for a person who has solution oriented analytical skills. It is important that you have pre-sales experience in software companies selling to the German healthcare market – preferably hospitals. You are familiar with keynote or powerpoint, Excel and CRM software. You can initiate dialogues. You have a great amount of perseverance, are hard-working and target driven. Your personality is extroverted with good interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships. Furthermore, it is essential that you have good communication skills both written and verbally in both German (ability and high interest in preparing presentation pitches and writing proposals) and English (for communicating with the danish team).

Project Manager

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day collaboration with our customers during implementation of the Digital Care Guide. You are driven by a passion to transform the communication between hospitals and patients, and you embrace the use of digitalization.

You have solid project and process experience from implementing digitization projects across hospitals, and you have the skills to drive a project from start to finish. You will draw up realistic and manageable plans for projects and any sub-projects. You have a flexible, agile and service-minded approach to customer projects and can adapt plans to any changes in the customer's organization. You will listen to and challenge the client on change management based on the opportunities provided by the Digital Care Guide.

You also contribute to the preparation of steering committee material, management and status reporting, follow-up on the business case and focus on spreading Digital Care communication further out in the client's organization. You are expected to be part of a team but also to take on tasks independently. You will report to the CEO of Emento GmbH and have a close collaboration with the Danish Implementation Team to adopt and ensure the use of the Emento implementation concept on the German market.
